Despite the current date we appear to be reliving the events of the past. They are not always in order but still lead to the same conclusion—a looming war of applied theology. Despite the protests from the hierarchy Muslim and Christian fundamentalists will begin to wage war. Ideologies will be pushed and nations will enter into holy war for unholy reasons.
Because that's the only way to defeat the impending depression.
The problem isn't with the god of Abraham but rather what people do with him. The Jews have the right idea but then one of them went ahead and admitted he was the messiah and took all those Europeans with him. Made being Jewish fashionable when you deem it okay to hang one one on a cross, doesn't it?
But they weren't the only one. Later came Mohammad. He took a new view of the same god, and with his vision built islam. And islam is really a version of the god of Abraham for Asians. Well at least western Asians and a bunch of Africans, too.
But what did America develop? Mormons.
